A Gentle Holiday Reminder from freemansound.org

Hello from Freemansound.org family,

Now that the holidays are officially underway, we wanted to pause with you for a moment—right here, right now.

The holidays can be beautiful, but they can also be… a lot. Emotions rise, old dynamics resurface, and sometimes it feels like we’re walking through memories instead of living in the moment.

So this season, we invite you to protect your peace like it’s sacred—because it truly is.

Take time off. Not just from work, but from the pressure to perform, respond, or curate. You don’t need to post it to prove it. Let your phone rest while you tune into your own frequency—the one that hums with joy, memory, and breath.

Press play on something uplifting. Whether it’s a playlist that makes you dance in your kitchen or a soundscape that soothes your spirit, let music be your medicine. It doesn’t have to be holiday-themed—just heart-themed.

Move your body. Dance like no one’s watching (because they aren’t). Stretch, walk, sway, or shake it out. Movement is a love letter to your nervous system. It says: “I’m here. I’m alive. I’m listening.”

Disconnect to reconnect. Social media can wait. Your peace can’t. When you unplug, you make room for real connection—with nature, with your breath, with your own thoughts.

If things feel heavy, talk to someone. You don’t have to carry it alone. Reach out to a friend, a therapist, a spiritual guide—or call 988. Your feelings are valid. Your voice matters. You are not a burden.
